Terms of Service
Last updated: February 2026
Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the MedAuditShield (MAS) platform at MedAuditShield.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the platform.
Nature of Service
MedAuditShield is workflow intelligence software designed to support hospice agencies in structuring their ADR response processes. Our platform:
- Does not provide medical advice. All clinical determinations remain with licensed healthcare professionals.
- Does not provide legal advice. Users should consult qualified legal counsel for legal matters.
- Does not guarantee outcomes. While our platform supports structured workflows, individual results may vary.
Phase 1: Non-PHI Requirement
In Phase 1 of the platform, users must not submit Protected Health Information (PHI), including but not limited to patient names, dates of birth, Medical Record Numbers (MRN), or any other individually identifiable health information. All documentation summaries must be de-identified. Violation of this requirement may result in account suspension.
User Responsibilities
Users are responsible for the accuracy of information entered into the platform, compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials, ensuring that no PHI is submitted during Phase 1, and ensuring appropriate use within their organization. All users must also comply with our Acceptable Use Policy.
Data Isolation
Agency data is isolated through row-level security (RLS) policies. Each agency can only access its own records. AI processing is performed server-side, and API keys are stored in secure environment variables.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MedAuditShield shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the services during the twelve months preceding the claim.
Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of the MedAuditShield platform are owned by MedAuditShield and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to the platform at any time, with or without cause. Upon termination, your right to use the platform ceases immediately.
