MedAuditShield ("MAS," "we," "our," "us") is committed to protecting the privacy of our users. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our platform at MedAuditShield.com.

Phase 1: Non-PHI Only

In Phase 1, our platform is designed to operate entirely without Protected Health Information (PHI). Users must not submit patient identifiers — including patient name, date of birth (DOB), Medical Record Number (MRN), or any other individually identifiable health information. All data entered must be de-identified workflow metadata only.

Information We Collect

We collect de-identified workflow metadata including ADR type classifications, denial reason codes, CPT/ICD codes, documentation completeness indicators, and timeline data. We also collect standard business information provided through our contact form, including name, work email, agency name, role, and descriptions of current ADR processes.

How We Use Information

• To provide and improve our ADR workflow intelligence services
• To communicate with you about your account and our services
• To generate aggregated, de-identified analytics and reporting
• To comply with legal obligations

Data Security & Isolation

All data is transmitted using industry-standard TLS encryption. Agency data is isolated using row-level security (RLS) policies, ensuring that each agency can only access its own records. AI processing occurs server-side; API keys are stored in secure environment variables and are never exposed to the client. For more details, see our Security & Data Protection page.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your data to third parties. We may share information only with service providers who assist in operating our platform, and only under strict contractual obligations.

Data Retention & Deletion

We retain data only as long as necessary to provide our services. You may request complete deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.
